What's wrong with you?

Hey man, wake up! Stop sleeping now!
What did you do in the last two months? What? Nothing, you said? Why did you do nothing at all but sleeping? What's wrong with you?
It's time to wake up, get your boots on and run, run, run. There's much work to do, many projects are still waiting for you, many people are expecting you to do something, you know you can't stand still, run, man, run!

This is the second part of a "very" nice album, please download it from jamendo.com and make a little donation to the artist if you like it! ;)

Go Go Go!

Hi guys,

I've just spent all night cleaning up some mailing lists from spam, building and testing some kernels on my 64 bit box, chomping some sandwiches with Nutella, mmh anything else?
I think I'll go mad one day, I just can't go on this way! I should try to keep myself moderately-but-constantly productive, instead of driving me lazy for two or three weeks and then wake up and do-whatever-I-had-to-do in one night! It sounds reasonable, but the gap between theory and practice is quite deep, you know, at least as deep as The Grand Canyon...

Well, now I have to get in synch with the local time (I usually follow a 36 hours daytime), so I'll try to stay awake at least until 7pm. Then I'll fall asleep as Yogi Bear would do. So, please, call me *before* xmas, I don't want to miss such an important event! :D

Cheers

University (re)start

Hell yes! Finally it started again!
Here it comes with the 2nd year: new courses, new professors, new people, same old song!
We started studying Genetic Algorithms, Theoretical Computer Science, Electro-Magnetism and Discrete Mathematics. Really fine, isn't it?
I also started writing some simple Pascal programming lessons, which I'll publish on my Italian technical blog.
Well, that's all for now. I'll go to sleep in a few minutes, with my favourite music buzzing in my hears, having nice dreams about my love! ^_^

Bulletproof, I whish I was...

Bullet-proof, I said. By far, this is my Radiohead's favourite song.
The video below resumes very well the kind of emotions I get when I listen to its melody. Even if it seems to be sad, I feel an inner sense of joy when the rhythm comes to the bridge. I think it could stay as an emblem for everybody who lived tearing all day, wondering why they weren't bulletproof. Why the hell one should suffer? I think no tear is worth to be dropped but tears of joy!
So, after many years of living with it, one day I saw the light... my sweetheart has changed the way I see things, everything starts becoming easier and happier! Now, more than words, this video will show you what do I mean when I talk about "seeing the light". Enjoy!

Thank you, my sweet!

Radiohead: Bulletproof, I whish I was...

Limb by limb and tooth by tooth
Tearing up inside of me
Every day every hour
I wish that I was bullet proof

Wax me
Mould me
Heat the pins and stab them in
You have turned me into this
Just wish that it was bullet proof

So pay the money and take a shot
Leadfill the hole in me
I could burst a million bubbles
All surrogate and bullet proof

And bullet proof
And bullet proof
And bullet proof
credits: thanks to N0body for sharing this amazing video!

General Purpose

Well, first I asked myself "shall we have a particular purpose?", and the answer was "no".
I'm sure I was right but, just to give you a bullet-proof answer, I want to further extend my statement: we do not only deny any particular purpose, but in contrast we do support a General Purpose!

Yes, that's it! First Show, the first CD of this nice band, is a five-tracks good-sounding excellent piece of music. How much does it cost? Oh, shame on you fool! First Show is released under a Creative Commons License, and it's freely downloadable by eMule or Bittorrent, as you wish. If you like it, you can burn a copy to your friends, write a review on your own blog and/or make a donation to the artist. About 90% of the money you donate goes directly to the artist, the remaining is for fees, banks and Paypal transaction. Even if you donate just €5 / $8, you are doing a good action for good musicians!

Before downloading it, you can listen the whole Album using the integrated music player. Enjoy my friends! ^_^

Hello World.\n

Hi blog,

this is your first day seeing light, welcome to the world!
Just an experiment, just wanted to give it a try, just to see if I could have my own blog or not.
I want to write you in english for no reason at all, just to see if I could do it. So, here we are, what to do next? Shall we have a particular purpose? Maybe we should only exist, no less, no more than that.
And now, time for some question: if math matters and computer computes, what does a yellow sheep do?
